Frequently Asked Questions
Do you upload anything?
No. This tool fetches your public URL and checks the icon links it finds.
Why does my favicon show but the checker warns?
Browsers cache aggressively and can fall back silently. The checker shows what is actually served on your live URLs.
Does a 200 status mean it is correct?
Not always. The checker also opens each file to confirm it is a square image, and flags missing sizes, apple-touch-icon, and web manifest coverage.
How do I fix issues fast?
Generate a full pack, paste the snippet, deploy, then re-run the checker.
